What is BizzMatcher Online Show?

BizzMatcher Online Show is an international online platform that brings together ambitious Entrepreneurs seeking funding and investors looking for innovative projects to invest in. During the online show, each Start-up is given 5 minutes to pitch their business idea/venture to the board of investors. During each start-up presentation, investors will ask question(s) to candidate and /or make investment offer(s) if they feel any interest.

Is it a Competition / Contest?

No, each and every startup / scale up that participate to the show can secure an offer from the investors , even after the show is done. The organizers will ensure a proper follow up and help entrepreneurs find the funds they need to operate / expand their business.

Do I need to download BizzMatcher Mobile to attend the Show?

No. All you need is to download Zoom application in your smartphone or install Zoom software on your laptop. Shorlisted start-ups, viewers and investors will receive a zoom link with a meetingID a password to connect to the online show.

Will BizzMatcher Online Show provide funding?

BizzMatcher Online Show brings high-profile investors to review profiles of its startups and facilitates introductions during and after the show. The investments/funding is negotiated directly between entrepreneurs and the investors and will be subject to the investors’ terms, conditions, criteria, and selection.

Is BizzMatcher Online Show open to only UAE nationals?

No, BizzMatcher Online Show programme is open to submission from all nationalities.

What if we have already been working on our start-up for a while? Is BizzMatcher Online Show appropriate for us?

Yes, admission to BizzMatcher Online Show is open for innovative ideas at prototype stage or ready to go-to-market stage.

Will you accept to host start-ups teams working on a similar idea?

Yes.

How should the applications be submitted?

Submissions may be done online only through the registration process.

How are applications judged?

Applications will be screened by a panel of experts on identifying ideas / companies who will add value to the industry.

What criteria do the Application Committee consider when judging applications to be part of the BizzMatcher Online Show programme?

  • Level of innovation of the proposed solution
  • Level of knowledge and confidence of the applicant(s)
  • Market potential of the project (Go-To Market readiness)
  • Management team (number and profiles of the entrepreneurs). Teams of minimum two members is recommended.
  • Economic impact on the community in the form of job creation potential and contribution to the growth of the economic base

Is it necessary to have a completed business plan to apply?

No, at the time of online submission, a complete business plan does not need to be ready. However, all elements of business model must be submitted, and the solution should be at a stage of a Minimum Viable Product or prototype, proof of concept, etc.

What happens if the application submitted lacks the complete information required by the BizzMatcher Online Show Committee?

If the committee feels that it requires further information or clarification of any points, the applicant will be contacted to submit additional documents to assert their innovation. However, panel’s decision is deemed final.

What is the next step after being selected by the committee?

After receiving acceptance to join the BizzMatcher Online Show hub, the team will contact you to complete your  registration by making an online payment ($800 flat fee) to come to the show and pitch in front of our investors.

Is it possible to submit more than one idea at the same time?

No, only one submission is acceptable at a time.

If we have already funding can we still apply?

Yes, please explain in your application the funding you have received in the past and the reasons it was insufficient.

Do we need to be in UAE to apply?

No. Applications can be submitted online via https://www.signature-network.com/start-ups-registration/

How will we know if we have been rejected or accepted?

You will receive a response from the BizzMatcher Online Show team on the result of your submission.

Who will have access to my submission?

BizzMatcher Online Show support staff and application evaluation committee will have access to documents.

Can we apply for BizzMatcher Online Show while visiting UAE on a visit visa?

Yes. Provided you meet the Federal Government rules and criteria.

Can a single person apply to BizzMatcher Online Show?

Yes
